About the role

What you’ll be doing:

· Proactively approaching customers in store and demonstrating the Dyson product range according to their needs and requirements. Trading up through the product range as appropriate

· Responsible for the day to day running of the store. Including ensuring that there is enough direct materials on-site, stock management, organization, and feedback regarding on the ground insights

· Line manager for all experts in your specific location. Completing regular feedback sessions and performance reviews

· Time management for all direct reports, including monthly rosters and arrange cover for team annual leave and sickness

· Taking charge of stock levels and sending proposed stock orders to line manager

· Calculate and send over conversion rate and location insights on a weekly basis

· Actively looking for new business opportunities in your location/area

· Key point of contact for location. You will act as the key holder for your location and be on call for your teams to answer any questions they may have.

· Responsibility for training in new starters

· Ensuring the Dyson machines and display are tidy, clean and ‘shoppable’

· Actively building relationships with store staff and holding responsibility for ongoing training with the store team

· Checking that all display models are working fully when switched on. You will be demonstrating these models and will want to know if there are any problems in advance of switching them on

· Meeting daily sales targets for your store

About You

You’ll have:

· Strong influencing skills/building relationships

· Customer focus - Previous experience in a customer facing role

· Excellent verbal communication skills

· Creativity and innovation, able to think outside the box

· A high level of drive to achieve and exceed results

· Ability to work on own initiative

· An honest, open and brave approach to all activities

· Attention to detail, taking pride in what you do

We’d also like to see:

· Experience managing a team, preferably in a retail environment

· Proven sales experience
