J o b  P u r p o s e
 
As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Boutique/Showroom to deliver the sales targets and achieve key objectives. Building on your leadership skills, retail and product knowledge, you will be a dedicated and committed team player offering consistent support to the Showroom Team; with a passion for delivering excellent client experience ensuring that everyone has the luxury experience they have come to expect from our Showrooms / Boutiques. You will support the Showroom Manager/Director(s) by planning and delivering the Floor and Showroom business plan, setting clear objectives and performance standards for colleagues whilst keeping all costs within budget and operating procedures in line with our high standards.

As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Showroom Team in engaging clients to deliver our outstanding Client Experience and ensuring the Showroom operates effectively, to maximum efficiency. You will ensure business and floorplans are delivered and meet their goals, coach colleagues to their full potential, proactively manage performance and provide clear communication and direction for your team. You will anticipate and respond to challenges as they arise, providing your team with a clear sense of purpose. You will role model a passion for our products & services and creating memorable experiences for our Clients. Supporting the Showroom Manager / Director, you will ensure operating processes & procedures are effective, efficient and meet our operating standards. You will be accountable for delivery in the following areas:• Leading and motivating your team to increase sales, improve efficiency and deliver performance against KPIs and sales targets.• Ensuring discounts and costs are kept within budget• Recruitment. Performance management & coaching of floor colleagues, providing feedback, improvement and development opportunities• Delivering an exceptional client experience, both in Showroom and at Client Events as required• Competitor analysis and sharing recommendations for how the Showroom can respond• Representing the Showroom at internal and external meetings• Organising daily and weekly routine tasks in line with policies and procedures through active delegation and participation• Maintaining visual merchandising to company standards and ensuring the Showroom presentation meets our standards• Participate in, and running floor / showroom training and out of hours meetings and VM changes as required

About The Applicant:



Essential Experience and Attributes 
 
• Proven experience in working successfully in a Retail environment, delivering sales and process efficiency• Experience of managing budgets, costs and identifying improvement opportunities• Highly numerate with the ability to understand, analyse and make recommendations to take action on business performance• Experience of leading a team• Experience of coaching or helping others to develop and improve performance• Flexible and adaptable to change• Motivated, proactive and dedicated• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills• Sales and target driven• Experience of building client relationships over a sustained period of time• Passion for brands and brand knowledge• Dedicated to creating memorable moments and experiences for Clients• IT literate
