Mappin and Webb is centred around VIP rooms, luxury hospitality and digital browsing tools. We are wanting a relaxed, inclusive, and experiential in-showroom experience for clients and are looking for Hosts to support our clients throughout their journey, making them feel at home whilst visiting our show rooms. The Host will support the Sales Consultants and the wider showroom team to ensure all clients receive an exceptional and memorable experience using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients from the moment they enter our showrooms to long after they have made their purchase. This is a hands-on role which involves a variety of tasks; the Host will spend a lot of time on the shop floor liaising with clients and colleagues but will also carry out many administrative duties in the back office. They will be a natural at building rapport with clients and going above and beyond to exceed expectations.
 
The Host will be a constant role model for the Watches of Switzerland Group values, and ensure they become a way of working for the whole team, giving every client (internal and external) an exceptional experience in our show rooms. Hosts will be accountable for delivery in the following areas:• Supporting all aspects of hospitality and client experience within the showroom.• Responding to enquiries over the phone and email.• Arranging appointments and managing calendars.• Making and serving beverages for clients in showroom (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).• Organising and preparing the VIP room.• Maintenance of the showroom housekeeping standards.• Compliance to company policy and procedures.• Keeping up to date with knowledge of the product and services offered in the showroom.• Completion of all training requirements through E learning and other sources.• Assist in other areas when necessary.• Ensure all new systems and data are secure and confidentiality is always maintained
